Echoes of Mystralia relics and Memories: database scope
This is a status-tagged live Early Access and historical demo database, not a finished wiki. Echoes of Mystralia released into Early Access on August 11, 2026. Rechecked August 23, the current numbered notes are patch 0.10.12.0 (August 21). The store confirms launch totals; the demo and dated devlogs remain historical. Neither source proves every individual effect, drop location or unlock condition.
0.10.12.0 official relic values
The August 21 Steam post “Spell Transparency, Balances, and Fixes” publishes number changes for a named Relic subset (Aster’s Fangs, Memory Prism, Burden Anklet, Full Heart Talisman, Warrior’s Mask, Amek Statuette, Cycle Bell, Awtorn’s Embers / Reanimated Nail / Mage’s Warhorn, Goane’s Vial, Souls Salts). Copy those official values from the spellcrafting guide rather than duplicating the table here. That page also notes the new spell VFX transparency slider, which may start at 0% until you set it in options. The patch is not a tested best-build list.
The terminology matters. Memories are the components placed on the Spell Canvas. Relics are a separate build-support layer. The older game, Mages of Mystralia, used runes, but “rune database” is not the correct name for this game’s main crafting inventory.
Confirmed counts by build
| Database group | Historical demo | Current Early Access store / official scope | Boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core spells / forms | 4 core spells | 12 new forms; 3 additional forms per starting spell | Individual form names are not listed |
| Memories | up to 50 | 45+ new Memories | Most names and effects are unpublished |
| Relics | 15 | 25+ new Relics | No complete official effect table |
| Elements | not fully itemized | Nihil announced as a new element | Total and full name list are not published in the cited posts |
| Spell forms | demo system present | 12 new forms; three extra forms for each starting spell | Names and unlock paths are unknown |
| Altar upgrades | partial demo progression | 50+ new upgrades and access to the whole Lotus | Costs and prerequisites are unknown |
These numbers come from the current Steam product text and dated developer announcements. “New” in a devlog is not always the same as “total,” so this page keeps current store totals separate from historical demo records and announced additions.
Named Memory records
The June Next Fest devlog is the only cited official source that names individual Memories:
| Official name | Confirmed classification | Confirmed effect detail | Build status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Icy Path | One of five new Modifier Memories | The post says two of the five are trails; it does not explicitly map this name to a full numerical effect | Demo update |
| Luminous Trail | One of five new Modifier Memories | No values or trigger rules published | Demo update |
| Unfulfilled Desire | One of five new Modifier Memories | Included among three damage-optimization options, without a safe per-name formula | Demo update |
| Pressure Buildup | One of five new Modifier Memories | No scaling, stack or duration numbers published | Demo update |
| Empty Stomach | One of five new Modifier Memories | No trigger condition or damage value published | Demo update |
| Nihil Memories | A new elemental family | Adds chaotic effects and new spell behaviours | Announced for Early Access |
Do not turn those short official descriptions into invented tooltips. A real effect database needs an in-game tooltip, tested build number and repeatable observation. Until then, blank fields are more useful than confident guesses.
Relics and inventory tracking
The original demo announcement confirms 15 Relics. The Early Access devlog announces 25+ new Relics. The June update also added a Relic inventory tab that shows collected Relics and which ones are active in the current run. Patch 0.10.12.0 adds official number changes for a named subset (see the spellcrafting page). That is still not enough to rank individual Relics.
The same update added a Resources tab for carried resources and discovered Echoes. Use those screens as the evidence record for a run: capture the exact item name, tooltip and active state before reporting a combination. Relics may support a spell setup, but the official posts do not publish stacking rules, rarities, drop pools or reroll odds.
Progression tools announced for Early Access
- Memory Forge: reshapes and alters Memories and the Spell Canvas. Exact operations and prices are unknown.
- Spell Canvas customization: an Altar upgrade lets a player customize the canvas in the Azimuth before beginning a run.
- Canvas Socket upgrade: a Guardian reward that increases canvas size. The source does not identify the Guardian, socket count or requirement.
- Hidden Memories and Memory Reframers: named as secrets or challenges, with no published trigger.
- Soulbeads Transmuter and Mages Extractor Reservoirs: named launch systems; function details are not described in the announcement.
- The Lotus: the permanent progression layer, fully accessible in the announced Early Access build.
How to use this database safely
For historical demo records, retain the tooltip and version. For the live Early Access build, move an announced row into a “verified live” column only after the current tooltip or a dated official note confirms it. Never infer a drop location from an icon, a trailer frame or a similar name. Build advice belongs on the spellcrafting guide; encounter rewards and Guardian claims belong on the Watcher duties and encounters page.
Frequently Asked Questions
